HB Rentals, along with parent company Superior Energy Services, acquired Aberdeen, Scotland-based Duffy & McGovern Accommodation Services in January. The acquisition is a result of an HB Rentals plan to grow into more international markets. In the U.S., Duffy & McGovern’s operations in New Orleans have been aligned with the HB Rentals fleet. Overseas, HB Rentals gained access to existing markets where Duffy & McGovern will retain its current brand. Duffy & McGovern operates in most major deepwater oil & gas territories in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Southeast Asia. Overall, Duffy & McGovern offers a fleet of more than 250 sleeping, service or office cabins.
