HB Rentals Completes Projects in the Middle East and West Africa
Broussard, La. (Mar. 7, 2012) – Offshore and onshore accommodation specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, has completed accommodation projects in the Middle East and West Africa, announced Regional Sales Manager Mike Bradley.
HB Rentals completed a three-building accommodation package on a jack-up rig in Dubai. The package was on location for one year and four months and consisted of three A60 eight-man sleepers, stacked to accommodate limited space on the rig. Custom stairs and platforms were also used to interface the temporary living quarters with the existing walkways on the jack-up.
Additionally, a two-building package was completed in West Africa. The package included one 12-man module and a recreation room. The buildings were installed onto beams that were welded on the deck to support the extra weight of the buildings. The enhanced design of the 12-man module was intended to ensure efficiency during offshore hook-up and installation.
